Billie Eilish made a big impression at the 2024 Summer Olympics closing ceremony on Sunday, August 11. The 22-year-old singer showcased her signature grunge look, wearing an oversized white Ralph Lauren polo with American flag colors, a navy baseball cap, baggy shorts, and chunky boots.
Eilish performed her new song “Birds of a Feather” from her latest album *Hit Me Hard and Soft.* She was joined on stage by her brother and collaborator Finneas, who sported a Ralph Lauren Team USA blazer.
The performance was part of a Venice Beach party concert that also featured the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Snoop Dogg. Snoop, who has become a fan favorite at the Games due to his NBC coverage, added to the LA vibe.
All the performers have strong connections to Los Angeles—Eilish was born there, the Red Hot Chili Peppers started there, and Snoop Dogg hails from nearby Long Beach.
Earlier this year, Eilish released her third studio album, *Hit Me Hard and Soft.* On August 1, she and British musician Charli XCX dropped the music video for the remix of Charli’s song “Guess,” featuring Eilish.
The Olympics opening ceremony on July 26 was also star-studded, with performances by Lady Gaga and Céline Dion. Gaga performed “Mon Truc et Plumes,” while Dion, in her first performance since revealing her stiff-person syndrome diagnosis, delivered a touching rendition of “Hymne à L’amour” from the Eiffel Tower.
